When it comes to company information, security is a
prime concern. The Tidy Data Solutions system has been developed
to ensure that the client data and networks are as secure as possible.
Client Data Security
Your data never leaves your server. We do not transfer your data
to our system or view, copy or modify the data in your database
at any time. The integrity of the data is uncompromised and all
resulting communication is carried out from Tidy Data Solutions
Servers.
The Managed Dynamic Data service automatically monitors
pre-agreed conditions in the client database remotely and takes
action if certain events or conditions occur. At no time does any
Tidy staff member view the source data.
The Tidyco Data Solutions mail system handles all outgoing
messages and documents. The benefits of this are that it relieves
your own network from email traffic and send all outgoing mail through
our high-strength virus protection system.
Client Network Security
You have total control of the connection to your data
source, you issue a user name and password to our Managed Data Service
and additianally restrict access to the IP address of our server.
This gaurantees that access can only be made by our server with
correct authentication.
It is vital that any changes to the client network do
not lead to a reduction in security. To this end we generally recommend
that we access the client data through a configured firewall with
IP filtering and authentication which will prevent any incoming/outgoing
activity apart from the packets sent from our IP address by the
Managed Dynamic Data Server.
Apart from configuring this controlled TCP traffic we
do not need to alter your network setup in any other way.
The client retains 100% control on access to the data
at all times and can restrict access by the Managed Dynamic Data
Service at any time. The client also controls the authentication
for our servers to access their data and can modify this as at any
time.
